I moved to Vancouver, Canada in July 2016 and hold Permanent Residency status since 2018.
I have been working at Electronic Arts and Bardel Entertainment since.
Some notable titles in my portfolio are the FIFA18 video game, Netflix’s DinoTrux and Netflix’s The Dragon Prince.
My fascination for film and CG sparked during middle school when watching the making ofs of movies
seemed just a fun as the movie itself. At the age of 15 I acquired my first version of Maya 5.5 and
subsequently took media classes and sketching workshops in school.
After graduating from the German School Tokyo Yokohama I started my studies at the Mediadesign
Hochschule Berlin. During this time I strived to gain as much broad insight about the digital
production process as possible by working on several fields in every project. I graduated with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Film Design – Animation in March 2014.
The process of turning a digital asset into a creature, prop or set and the combination of technical and creative
work that are equally necessary to achieve a working solution have been most fascinating to me.
This is where work turns in to a challenging and fun puzzle to solve.
